Balloon Debate

The Balloon debate is a fun, interactive event where 4 STEM professionals are hurtling towards the ground in a sinking hot air balloon, and must defend their place or risk being thrown overboard! Students vote on who stays and who goes, but remember: only one person can survive…

There were two balloon debates held at STEM from the City (June 2014); one in each of the morning and afternoon sessions. Both were presented by Helen Czerski, a physicist, oceanographer and broadcaster currently working at UCL and for the BBC.

More information on the exciting debaters can be found by clicking the document link below. What was said and, most importantly, who was left standing will be coming soon.
